August 26 - Day 2 - Cardio Power & Resistance (Ariel, Miguel, Steve, Ish, Tim C, Jennifer H, Carlos H.)

Well, the group just finished Cardio Power & Resistance.  I would prefer to call it by its initials, CPR.  That is what you feel like receiving after you're done with this class.  Intense from the beginning and not really letting up for the entire class.  Warm-ups are definitely rougher than any normal warm-ups.  Once your done warming up, it's on to stretching.  Here is where you can take a breather, but as you sit there and stretch, beads of sweat are just pouring down your face and onto the floor.  It's intense.  Time for the class (as if you're not tired already).  We do all kinds of power jumps, squats, push-ups, hops, and core work.  You can tell by the moaning of the class that this is taking a toll on everyone.  Best thing is you really are doing about 5 sets of exercises but 3 times each, with each round going more intense.  Lots of small breaks which allow you to catch your breath, only to lose it again 45 seconds later.  Great workout.  I can only imagine what the others are like.  God speed.  We must move on!
